Pioneers (GCSE / iGCSE) Spanish | Ages 14–16
The summit is in sight. Pioneers is designed for home-educated, home-schooling and worldschooling students preparing to sit their AQA, Edexcel Pearson or Cambridge GCSE Spanish exams. This is where everything comes together — the vocabulary, the grammar, the cultural knowledge and the speaking confidence to use Spanish beyond the exam room.
In our weekly small-group sessions we follow the GCSE curriculum step by step, building not only the exam skills needed to achieve the grade your child deserves, but the real-world fluency that makes all those years of learning worth it. Lessons are interactive, fast-paced and full of variety — no dry textbook trudge here.
We run one weekly Pioneers class:
- Wednesdays 2.30–4pm
What makes Pioneers different?
- Tailored for home-educated learners – We understand the flexibility and the challenges of home education. Lessons are structured and exam-focused, but always adaptable to your child’s pace and learning style.
- Exam-focused and beyond – We prepare students thoroughly for GCSE, but we also go further — making Spanish practical, culturally rich and genuinely memorable. Because a language learned only for an exam is a language soon forgotten.
- Taught by someone who has truly lived it – Our founder spent 20 years living and working across South America and raised her own children bilingually. That depth of real-world Spanish experience shapes every lesson we teach.
- Engaging, purposeful resources – Students will need the CGP GCSE AQA Spanish Exam Practice Workbook and The Spanish Revision Guide before their first lesson. These form the backbone of the course, alongside authentic online resources, role-plays, games and original in-house materials.
- Learning that sticks – Between lessons, students receive short, manageable tasks to keep their Spanish sharp and build real independence as learners.
