Pathfinders Key Stage 3 Beginners | Ages 11–14
Ready to find their path in Spanish? Pathfinders is designed for home-educated, home-schooling and worldschooling children aged 11–14 who are either brand new to Spanish or returning after a gap. Using the Adventures in Spanish Framework, lessons build real communication skills from day one — in a relaxed, small-group setting that feels nothing like a classroom.
We run one weekly Pathfinders class on a Tuesday, and have a wait list for the Wednesday class.
- Tuesdays 12–1pm
- Wednesdays 12–1pm (contact us to be added to the wait list)
What makes Pathfinders special?
- Structured yet flexible – Each student receives a specially designed learning booklet to guide their progress. Lessons weave in and out of this resource, enriched with interactive materials all accessible via Google Classroom for easy review at home.
- Confidence-first approach – We put speaking and listening at the heart of every lesson, so students are actually using Spanish from the very start — not just studying it.
- Varied, engaging lessons – Expect games, role-plays, cultural exploration and plenty of real conversation practice, led by native-speaking tutors who understand how home-educated children learn best.
- A clear path forward – Pathfinders is carefully structured to build the foundations students need to move confidently into Voyagers and, eventually, GCSE.
By the end of Pathfinders, your child will have:
✅ A strong foundation in Spanish vocabulary and grammar
✅ Real confidence in speaking and listening
✅ Cultural curiosity and enthusiasm for the Spanish-speaking world
✅ A clear path mapped out towards the next level
Every pathfinder needs a map — and this is where they learn to read it.
