Here at Adventures in Spanish we have been delivering Spanish lessons to the Home Education community for over 10 years. Our Spanish courses were born to serve the needs of home educating families who’s children, keen to learn Spanish do not have access to Spanish tutors.
You want a tutor who understands about Home Education. Which is what makes Adventures in Spanish so unique; Kelly home educated her own children through primary school and is familiar with the learning needs of home educated children. She understands how learning takes place differently to that in main-stream school and develops lessons plans to suit small learning groups of no more than 10 children. As well as experienced native Spanish-speakers all of the brilliant tutors who join the Adventures in Spanish team to deliver Spanish classes to the home education community home educate their own children.
As part of the Spanish learning programme with us we also provide home educated children with the opportunity to improve their Spanish in Spain by joining one of our Spanish Immersion Trips. These trips run throughout the year to Malaga, Madrid and Valencia.

BEGINNERS SPANISH CLASSES KS2 (6-11 YEARS)
Price for next 6-week course £60pp (includes student workbook).
We run two weekly beginners Spanish classes for ages 6-11 years. Choose from the following days:
- Tuesdays 10-10:45
- Fridays 10-10:45
Fun & engaging Spanish classes designed to support home educating children new to learning Spanish. Our beginners Spanish classes include brand new course content (inline with the KS2 curriculum) to ensure that children are introduced to the Spanish language in a way that supports them from an early age. Lessons are fun and very interactive and are delivered by experienced, native-speaking fellow home educating parents.

BEGINNERS SPANISH CLASSES KS3 (11-14 YEARS)
Price for next 7-week course £85pp (includes student workbook).
We run two weekly beginners Spanish classes for ages 11-14 years. Choose from the following classes:
- Tuesdays 12-1pm
- Wednesdays 10-11am
The beginners KS3 Spanish class for home educated children is perfect for 11-14 year old’s who are interested in learning Spanish for the first time. Children use a student booklet that is provided by us. Your brilliant Spanish tutor dips in and out of this and mixes the lessons up with some of our own Spanish resources too – which we make accessible in our Google Classroom. As always, our Spanish lessons are fun and interactive with a focus on improving speaking confidence and developing listening skills.

IMPROVERS SPANISH CLASSES KS2 (6-11 YEARS)
Price for next 7-week course £85pp (includes student workbook).
We run one improvers Spanish class for 7-11 years;
- Mondays 2-3pm
This home education Spanish class is designed for children aged 7-11 years who already have some Spanish or who have progressed from our Beginners class.

IMPROVERS SPANISH CLASSES KS3 (11-14 YEARS)
Price for next 7-week course £85pp (includes student workbook).
We run one improvers Spanish class for 7-11 years;
- Wednesdays 11-12pm
These are improvers KS3 Spanish classes for home educated children that provide the foundations from which students can then build on if they wish to continue on to (i)GCSE Spanish level. Students use a student booklet that is provided in pdf. format.

PRE-GCSE SPANISH CLASS
Price for next 7-week course £85pp.
A brand new group starting in September 2024.
This class has been designed to bridge the gap between KS3 improvers and the GCSE group to ensure they are prepared for the GCSE curriculum. Suitable for ages 10+(due to curriculum content) younger students are accepted at tutors discretion.
Our pre-GCSE Spanish class takes place on;
- Tuesdays 3-4pm

(I)GCSE SPANISH CLASS
Price for next 7-week course £145pp
Our iGCSE Spanish class takes place on;
- Wednesday 2.30-4pm
Designed to meet the needs of Home Educating parents wanting their children to sit the Spanish (i)GCSE (or equivalent) exam by 2024/25. Lessons are fun and interactive with a focus on developing confidence as we move through Spanish GCSE curriculum.
Students are asked to buy a copy of the CGP GCSE AQA Spanish Exam Practice Work Book as well as The Spanish Revision Guide prior to the first lesson. Both are available on Amazon. We combine other on line resources to support these books and bring the themes and topics to life. We also mix the lessons up with some of our own resources too. There are activities to do in-between lessons.

GCSE ORAL EXAM PREP CLASS
Price for next 7-week course £85pp
Our GCSE Oral Exam prep class takes place on;
- Tuesdays 5-6pm
A brilliant Spanish conversation class for children preparing to sit the GCSE Spanish exam. This course is designed to help build speaking confidence and teach crucial skills through a series of topic-based 60-minute lessons.
By enrolling your child in this course they will:
-Learn crucial skills that will help them achieve the grade they deserve in the GCSE oral exam.
- Learn revision strategies specific to the oral exam that will ensure they are as prepared as possible for the exam
- Develop more speaking confidence.
- Learn exactly how to answer the questions in the oral exam and what the examiner is looking for.
- Work though though past Spanish oral exam papers.
- Converse in Spanish with native tutors.
- Have access to experienced tutors to ask any exam -related questions.
- Develop their Spanish vocabulary.
- Improve their Spanish pronunciation.
- Practice their chosen theme for the oral exam.
Lessons are highly interactive with key vocabulary and phrases that students will use.
