At Adventures in Spanish, we help world schooling families and home educated children learn Spanish in a fun, practical and meaningful way.

Our Spanish lessons for home educated children online combine language, culture and real-life experiences, helping children build confidence in speaking Spanish while discovering the world beyond the classroom.

Founded by Kelly, who spent 20 years living in South America and home educated her own children bilingually, we understand that learning happens everywhere — at home, while travelling, through everyday conversations and shared adventures.

Whether you’re looking for Spanish lessons for homeschoolers UK or Spanish for worldschooling children, our lessons help your child connect with Spanish-speaking cultures and develop a lifelong love of languages.

Spanish isn’t just a subject — it’s a passport to new friendships, experiences and opportunities.

What makes us different?

What Home Educating & World Schooling parents & students are saying about our Spanish lessons and courses

My child has been having regular lessons with Kelly for about a year, and I myself have also had a few lessons. Kelly is a great teacher, she is patient, knowledgeable, curious, and engaging, and is providing a wonderful basis for my child’s continued learning. She encourages where needed, and acknowledges improvement.
The lessons are an hour long, online in a small group, with vocab revision set each week between lessons, and fit perfectly within our learning.

Key Stage 3 parent. May 2026

Fun, engaging, patient and pro Spanish language instructor that is equally awesome at group instruction, which my daughter is involved in, and personalised one on one lessons, which I take. 100% recommend.

Key Stage 3 parent. February 2026

Kelly is amazing! She knows how to teach! Vivienne loves her, we went to language school to Malaga with Kelly and planning another trip

Key Stage 2 parent. December 2025

” just wanted to say, G is absolutely loving her Spanish lessons with you. It’s so lovely to hear her trying to use her Spanish. She looks forward to telling us what she has learnt every week “

Key Stage 3 parent. November 2025

The girls learnt a lot from your lessons and loved the structure of the blocks as well as interaction with peers, thank you! The girls have just started learning Portuguese and find that their foundation in Spanish is helping them pick up vocabulary.”

Key Stage 2 parent. August 2025

T had a great time. He loved it. Thank you for all you do.

Summer School parent. July 2025

Kelly is one of the best teachers I have come across and I have worked across primary, secondary and further education environments. She truly cares about her role and is fully focused on developing every student’s Spanish ability in a varied and engaging way. The GCSE classes are hugely interactive and also introduce students to the exam format so there are no nasty surprises at the 11th hour! After 2 lessons with Kelly, my daughter learnt more than in a whole term with another tutor and loves the classes. Kelly’s vlogs and blogs show how much she is passionate about everything Spanish and this comes across in every lesson. If you are looking for a Spanish teacher for you or your child, I would 100% recommend Adventures in Spanish. “

The HY Life Experiment, GCSE parent. March 2024

Thanks so much for being the most wonderfully supportive teacher – you’ve help make a very shy kid more confident in her vocal abilities beyond Spanish too.”

Lou, Teens Conversation parent (March 2024

“The 8 week course that she did with you was really fantastic and she learnt a lot in those lessons. She said you are an excellent teacher and I am sure if she needs help nearer her GCSE, which she is continuing at school, we will definitely be in touch.”

Gina, GCSE parent (Sept 2023)

“I just wanted to thank you for the Spanish lessons last year. Holly really enjoyed her lessons with you and I want to thank you very much for all your hard work!”

Hazel, KS3 parent (Sept 2023

“Thank you for the past few years of Spanish classes! Languages used to be something i could easily learn, but I found it to become increasingly as I began to get older, and was especially quite anxious about taking a language exam as it’s something I’ve never done up until now. I joined your classes 2-3 (i think?) years ago and was quite apprehensive to try learning a language again, but the sessions you held were always fun and interactive and didn’t feel intimidating. Everyone in the class feels included by doing group work and activities which were always fun and engaging, whilst also still being able to learn effectively.

The exam itself for me was very nerve wrecking, especially the speaking exam, but Kelly helped me both in group and 1-1 sessions in building my speaking and language skills so i felt more prepared and ready for the exam and wasn’t hit with any unexpected questions or topics which hadn’t been learnt. I managed to achieve the highest grade given in the foundation paper, which was a surprise considering my heavy exam anxiety (and quite pessimistic nature!) so was very happy that the past few years of classes and studying with Kelly’s had paid off.

I would recommend Kelly to anyone looking to start learning Spanish and also learning about the Spanish culture, and especially if you struggle with exams like me as the whole experience has been great and Kelly has always been accommodating and able to help put my mind at ease with any concerns or worries I had.”

Saffron Jade (Sept 2022)

“Thank you for your support this last year, we couldn’t have done it without you.”

Angela, iGCSE parent 2022

“I had been looking for a Spanish language tutor, who would not only teach the language but would ensure learning was fun and enjoyable. Previously I had come across tutors who were fixated on rote learning, that didn’t work for my then 7 year old, as he, like most children needed to feel passionate about learning as well as thoroughly enjoying it. I was elated to have found Kelly at Adventures in Spanish. Kelly not only ensures children are learning at a good pace, but she ensures lessons are interactive, fun, full of smiles and laughter, and most importantly learning through play.
My son has learnt so much Spanish, I am amazed with the progress. He has gone from zero knowledge to confidence with basics. He’s also able to confidently read spanish (and happy to correct me!)
Being able to offer so much through online sessions is an amazing talent! I would highly recommend Kelly. It’s wonderful to see your child want to learn and want to take part in lessons.
Kelly has been a fantastic teacher, supporting the children, and adapting teaching to suit all of the students.
I would definitely try Spanish with Kelly before trying elsewhere!”

Nafisa Hussain (April 2020)

“My daughter attends Kelly’s Spanish class in Warrington and she absolutely loves the classes. Kelly is such a fun and engaging teacher. Learning through games, songs and stories really helps to keep the children’s attention and my daughter always looks forward to her weekly class.”

Collette Morris 2016

“Many Thanks for letting Elijah join in this session today. He loved it and came off dancing and relaying all that he had learnt. ”

Parent, KS2 Class May 2022

“My daughter has been having Spanish lessons with Kelly and she absolutely loves them. She learns so much through the fun and engaging learning style, and even my two year old has learnt to sing songs in Spanish though watching the group! I highly recommended Latin Adventures’ services!”

Louise Heyden 2016

“My three year old daughter has been going to Kelly’s Spanish classes for about 6 months now. Kelly is brilliant at engaging the young children in the classes and Poppy is beginning to use some Spanish words independently now. She also loves the songs and the stories. Highly recommended :)”

Julie Dight 2016

My three children have been having Spanish lessons from Kelly for well over a year and I cannot recommend her enough. Kelly always ensures the lesson are fun but educational and that all the children, and sometimes the parents, are involved. The lessons have done a lot more for my children than teach them a language, the boost in confidence, especially in my eldest (anxious & shy) boy, is amazing. If you’re looking for quality Spanish services you can’t go too far wrong with Kelly.”
