I lived in Máncora, which you’ll find perched on the northern coast of Peru, in my early twenties. Today it’s a dazzling beach town that has long been a favorite among locals but remains a hidden gem to many international travelers. It is one of the most popular places to surf in South America, attracting surfers from across the Globe. I have to admit that’s not why I ended up there though.
