After-school Spanish lessons
Adventures in Spanish has been delivering fun and engaging Spanish lessons to children for over 10 years. Our after-school Spanish courses are designed to provide children with the additional support they need to help them achieve the best possibly grade at GCSE. Small group Spanish classes help ensure our services are financially accessible to as many families as possible.
You want a tutor who understands about the GCSE syllabus and is able to adapt to the changing framework whilst working side-by-side secondary schools across the UK. This is what makes Adventures in Spanish so unique; Kelly and her team of tutors at Adventures in Spanish have experience with all exam boards including; AQA, Edexcel Pearson, Cambridge and WJEC. Small groups of no more than 10 children in the conversation classes allows for a more tailored learning experience for your child.
As part of the Spanish learning programme with us we also provide our students with the opportunity to improve their Spanish in Spain by joining one of our Spanish Immersion Trips. These trips run throughout the year to Malaga, Madrid and Valencia.

GCSE ORAL EXAM PREP CLASS
Price for 6-week course £75pp.
- Tuesdays 5-6pm
A brilliant Spanish conversation class for children preparing to sit the GCSE Spanish exam. This course is designed to help build speaking confidence and teach crucial skills through a series of topic-based 60-minute lessons.
By enrolling your child in this course they will:
- Learn crucial skills that will help them achieve the grade they deserve in the GCSE oral exam.
- Learn revision strategies specific to the oral exam that will ensure they are as prepared as possible for the exam
- Develop more speaking confidence.
- Learn exactly how to answer the questions in the oral exam and what the examiner is looking for.
- Work though though past Spanish oral exam papers.
- Converse in Spanish with native tutors.
- Have access to experienced tutors to ask any exam -related questions.
- Develop their Spanish vocabulary.
- Improve their Spanish pronunciation.
- Practice their chosen theme for the oral exam.
Lessons are highly interactive with key vocabulary and phrases that students will use.

AFTER-SCHOOL REVISION CLASS
Price for next 6-week course £90pp (includes student workbook).
Each lesson will cover a particular sub-topic of the GCSE syllabus with a grammar focus.
- Thursday 4.30-5.30pm
An after-school Spanish revision session designed to prepare children for the GCSE Spanish exam and help them get more out of the Spanish classes at school. Suitable for school years nine upwards. Each week will cover a different topic or grammar focus in the GCSE syllabus. These sessions have a capacity of 20 students.
