This is a great game to accompany a food unit. The children have to think of 10 fruits and vegetables. Once they have ten items s/he is required to draw that person using only the items on the list. Then they can label the body parts in Spanish.
I also ask them to describe their drawing to the class. They can talk about what each body part or article of clothing is made of. This helps review two more set of vocabulary. For example, (with the above picture) you can say…
La cabeza es una manzana.
Los brazos son pepinos.
– This also introduces the children to the verb “Ser” (To Be).
